Sustainable Material Handling: Seagate Rolls Out First Electric Forklift

We are proud to be rolling out our first electric forklift at our Savannah plant, taking an important first step in the company’s transition to an all-electric fleet. Forklifts are an essential part of our business, providing a safe, efficient way to handle a variety of products for our customers.

Electrifying the entire fleet of lifts will eliminate over 155 tons of CO2 emissions annually from our operations.

We are constantly deploying new ways to add value to our customers’ stored products. Reducing carbon emissions in our warehouses by using electric forklifts is a meaningful milestone in our long-term sustainability efforts that will create a greener, more valuable supply chain for our customers.
